KAUAI DIARY

It's safe to say that Kauai is one of my favorite places to visit. It has so much to offer and the views of the mountains, waterfalls, and ocean are just breathtaking. My most recent trip was filled with lazy beach days, hiking, snorkeling, tropical gardens, and eating yummy fresh fish every chance we got...

It was my first time staying on the north shore in Princeville, and the location was beyond perfect for our family vacation. We were close to some of my favorite north short beaches and my husband was close tot he Makai Golf Course - it was a win-win for both of us! Our trip started off with a little rain, so we decided to skip the beach on the first day and take Corey to the Kauai Plantation Railway in Lihue. It was a hit for our little guy - he loved the train and all the different farm animals. The next couple days were spent beach hopping all along the north shore to all my favorite beaches - Tunnels, Anini, Ke'e, and Hanalei Bay. My mom and I ventured to the Mcbride Garden on the south shore and walked around the gardens for an hour one morning before heading back to the north shore. Danny and I made a checklist of all the restaurants to go to that week - Duke's in Lihue is one of our favorites and we made it there twice for lunch that week. Make sure to try their fresh catch of the day! Another place I have to recommend is Hukilau Lanai in Kapaa - the fresh seafood is always delicious and the chocolate warm cake with its oozing chocolate center and vanilla bean ice cream is sooo good!

It was a wonderful vacation, full of memories I'll cherish forever. Below is a little diary of my trip and what I wore! I already ca't wait to get back to this island!
